At the edges of the real, G. Pawlick sinks into the fantastic through illustration, trying to organize his private delirium on the basis of the mystical and the surreal. Lost in his own anachronism, he lets an intentional mismatch in time surface in his work, a love of the past crossed by a subtle, almost insolent contemporaneity. And yet he still fails when trying to describe himself and his work in the third person.
